First and foremost, the Marucci has completely re-shaped the AZR Alloy barrel profile of the CatX to offer a much more balanced swing weight with a wider sweet spot and a more forgiving barrel.  Secondly, the CatX will be equipped with a Liquid-Gel Dampening Knob, Marucci's newest anti-vibration technology, which situates a precise amount of clear liquid gel into the knob to dissipate vibrations and sting. In addition, it has new custom-sized handle tapers for a more ergonomic fit and improved bat control.
